Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School
Description: Senior residents (PGY4) have opportunity to conduct international rotation at Aravind Eye Hospital (India). Residents gain experience in cornea, glaucoma, and uveitis clinics. Also learn management of end-stage inflammatory and infectious diseases uncommon in the United States. Residents spend each half-day in the operating room and are primary surgeons for cataract surgeries (extra-capsular, small-incision cataract surgery and phaco-emulsification).
