I am a second-year medical student at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. I am interested in global ophthalmology because of its ability to restore and preserve vision, a crucial aspect of a patient's quality of life, especially for underserved and underprivileged populations. I currently work with community health fairs to provide free eye screenings to the underserved population in Newark, and I hope to expand my outreach in the future. Throughout my career, I plan to work internationally on preventable blindness, age-related conditions, and ocular traumas by promoting sustainable healthcare solutions. 

Outside of medicine, I love trying new workout classes, traveling to different countries, and bullet journaling!
