Tommy Bui is a 4th-year medical student at the Medical College of Georgia. Growing up, he was encouraged to travel and explore diverse perspectives, which fueled his passion for global health. His commitment to serving communities is rooted in the belief that strong public health foundations begin locally. During medical school, his experiences with free clinics and outreach programs sparked a deeper interest in addressing health disparities on a global scale.

Fun fact: Tommy was a guitarist and singer in a pop-punk cover band during middle school. While he tries to stay connected to music, he humorously admits he’s now “past his prime”.
