Zoha Mian, BS
I am a fourth-year medical student at the University of Louisville.
I believe that we cannot build a healthy or thriving society without helping our fellow human beings around the world. Global healthcare gaps eventually affect our lives as individuals. As a first-generation immigrant, I have seen the disparities that exist in access to healthcare between the United States and countries abroad. As a future physician, I believe it is our duty to use our skills and knowledge to increase high-quality and sustainable health care for everyone around the world.
Fun fact: I have traveled to 24 different countries. My cat is polydactyl (she has thumbs)!
